A good news of invitation, by Gael of the Georgetown University. Letter.

Dear colleague

I am trying to make the business case in the paper on health literacy from the National Academy of Medicine that it is a good investment for private sector companies.  Whether for their own workforce, their customers or the broader community, a health literate population will be more productive and healthy.  Businesses can improve their bottom line performance and increase their standing with the government and other key stakeholders by pursuing health literacy initiatives, and ethically, health literacy and health promotion is the right thing to do.

I am seeking illustrative examples of firms that have worked in this space.  I would like to get a description of the HL interventions they are implementing, any results/metrics, and insights/lessons learned that can inform the broader business community.

I appreciate your connecting me with these two firms and with your association members as well.

Best wishes,
Gael
