Skill-building workshops are on October 25, including Strategies for Blending Health Literacy into Community Activities, which will cover current community-based health literacy interventions and best practices.
The Summit is October 26 featuring panel discussions, plenaries, activities, and more, including keynote speaker Richard Carmona, M.D., 17th Surgeon General of the United States.
And there is also information about Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
They have applied for approval to offer CEUs for Missouri social workers and Certified Health Education Specialists (CHES) who attend the summit, a workshop, or both. Please check back soon for updates!
This activity has been submitted to the Midwest Multistate Division for approval to award nursing contact hours. The Midwest Multistate Division is accredited as an approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
