The Secretary-General Prof. Peter Chang has been invited to the 10th National Health Promotion and Environmental Health Conference of Thailand: Health Literate Citizen towards Thailand 4.0, organized by the Department of Health, Thailand, on August 2-4 in Bangkok, Thailand. The Conference has officially launched the Thailand 4.0 for health, and to create citizen’s health literacy as the key target.The SG Peter Chang delivered his invited presentation “Health literacy movements in Asia” and received tremendous interest from the almost 1000 participants from several countries in Asia and in Thailand. AHLA also welcomed the interest from Director General Dr. Wachira Penjuntr, Ministry of Public Health, Thailand, and one of the key organizers, Assoc. Prof. Chanuantong Tanasugarn of the Faculty of Public Health, Mahidol University.
