The Honorary President, Professor Peter Chang received the “IHLA Presidential Award for Outstanding Service”
Congradulations to the Honorary President Professor Peter Chang for receiving the “IHLA Presidential Award for Outstanding Service”, in the Secondary Global Health Literacy Summit, held in Sep. 18-20 in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Announced by the President Dr. Kristine Sorensen of the International Health Literacy Association, the affiliate of the AHLA, Professor Chang has been honored for his long and ceaseless contributions to the establishment of the IHLA in 2016, joined by Kristine Sorensen of Denmark and Sabrina Kurtz-Rossi of Boston, USA.
They together received the IHA Global Contribution Award in 2016. Prof. Chang has initiated the developments of the AHLA in 2013 and served as the Secretary General of the AHLA till 2019, and took the President till 2022, right after the 8thAHLA Conference in Chang Bing Show Chwan Memorial Hospital. Prof. Chang is supported by Vice President Dr. Duong Van Tuyen in receiving the award due to been occupied by other works. Prof. Chang is joined by Sabrina Kurtz-Rossi in receiving the Award.
